things i’ve got on my mind...

green is good.

burned...

can you tell how raw this is?!
so dumb. so very, very dumb.
word to the wise: when you put sunscreen on before you drive to the beach, make sure you put more on at the beach, because I guarantee the first layer has already rubbed off.
the question now is: what do I do?!

Brick walls are there for a reason: they let us prove how badly we want things

We knew it would happen, but we didn't know when.
Randy Pausch died on friday night.
Because i love the fireworks on the fourth of july so much, i'm glad he got to spend one more fourth of july with his wife and kids before he died.
So much has been written about him. i'm so happy when i google him because there's tons to read and watch; his legacy will live on and that makes me happy.
I think his lecture is something we should all check in on about once a month. just to keep ourselves in check.
Let me know what you think.

Additionally, here's a cool article on how the internet helped spread the word about The Last Lecture: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20080728.WBmingram20080728132435/WBStory/WBmingram
I couldn't find a link to an abridged version of his Last Lecture, so here's the link for the whole lecture on YouTube; it's completely worth the time)
(Oprah had him to give an abridged version, so you could search for that too.)

Broken apple

So... my computer froze today.
I don't know why
I was confused.
I turned it off.
I turned it on.
It made clicking noises and then popped up with a grey screen and a flashing ? folder. Literally, a folder with a ? was flashing on my screen and the clicking continued.
if my hard drive has crashed I'll cry my eyes out. and be really pissed. Our honeymoon pictures and years worth of music and photos and resume projects and my life are in there.
It's gotta be restored!!!
There's no option!!!

pretty much: my dream room

this is the bedroom from The Holiday movie with kate winslett, et. all.
i
heart
it.
i want to find a house with a bedroom just like this and move in right now.
yes, right now.
the colors in this room are so wonderful!
i love the big red-ish quilt and the bits of the old, faded, green-blue with the wheat colored walls and the white ceilings and bed and all of the wood - the floor, the beams...
wonderful.
plus, the fabric lampshades .
uh.
